In order to open the kitchen up to make it more functional and brighter, we removed a load bearing wall between the kitchen and den. Right on trend is the new custom banquette seating we built. It’s perfect for when you have guests, or just enjoying time to yourself. The cabinets are custom painted wood with white subway tile backsplash. The blue adds a ton of character to this old house. Classic white laminate countertops look top notch with this particular palette.
This project also involved asbestos remediation and extensive structural work. The original house was built in the early 1900’s. A true gem!
